It has been an honour to serve the qualitative research community in 2021. We are very grateful for the support of our clients as we continue to design user-friendly technology and deliver unique qualitative research experiences. As the year comes to a close, we would like to reflect on how we have grown and what we have learned. In addition, we would like to share our excitement for 2022.

Here’s what the itracks team worked on in 2021 and some of our major achievements:

• We released the new itracks Realtime platform for focus groups and interviews. The itracks Realtime platform was built by the local itracks software team from the ground up. This allowed itracks to transition off of Adobe Connect, which we learned is purposed more for generic video conferencing and not research specific. The specific research functions of software specifically designed for qualitative research have eliminated numerous pain points experienced by our clients and team in the past.
• We worked with multiple clients to reproduce their research methodologies and processes for interviews and focus groups on the new system and to create value through our subscription program, which has allowed them to grow their businesses.
• Our team transitioned the hosting of itracks Realtime to Microsoft Azure to enable localized data storage in the geographic region of their choice.
• Initial release of the itracks Realtime Mobile App for research interviews
• Launch of the itracks Trusted Partner Network to bring high-quality moderation and recruitment services and project-based technology options for clients
• Development and successful launch of rapid based project-based pricing technology for clients that prefer it

Our inspiring plans for 2022 include:

• Further enhancements to the Realtime platform leveraging the new mobile app
• Development of advanced reporting functionalities leveraging AI
• New development on the itracks Board software to bring new innovation to online discussion boards
• Improvements to user experience
• Expansion of language capabilities within the software

We acknowledge that implementing a new platform for our services has created significant change as well as opportunities. We appreciate the guidance of our clients and their willingness to provide feedback that has allowed us to develop and innovate an exciting new product for the online qualitative industry. Together, we have redefined how online focus groups and interviews are conducted, creating a new collaborative and engaging experience.
